The Faulkner County Road Department will be working throughout the night tonight, Friday, January 10, 2025, and tomorrow, Saturday, January 11, 2025, clearing roadways. Crews will first complete clearing primary roadways. Then, crews will move on to clearing secondary roadways. If you see employees working on the roads, please slow down and drive extremely cautiously. Please allow plenty of extra room when approaching road workers, and do not attempt to pass road crews in these conditions. We understand that many people are excited to have roadways cleared and get out of their homes, however, recent accidents around the county last night and today have taught us the importance of patience and cautious driving. Our priority is always the safety of both our county employees and citizens. We encourage residents to remain home in these conditions and allow us to clear the roads safely. Should you have to travel, please slow down, drive carefully, and refrain from passing. We appreciate your cooperation with this matter. Stay safe and warm, Faulkner County!
