Scam Alert

Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office has received several reports recently regarding scam calls. In these calls, the caller has pretended to be an employee of Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office. Most recently, scammers have pretended to be Chief Deputy Wooley, Lieutenant Dixon, Lieutenant Woodward, & Sergeant Cooley. In some instances, the scammers have spoofed phone numbers claiming to be from the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office. The scammers have even put a fake FCSO voicemail on that number. Please do not fall victim to these scams.

Faulkner County Sheriff's Office will never contact individuals via phone regarding arrests or warrants and requesting money or additional personal information. We will also never ask for venmo, cash app, gift cards, or other financial information from you.

If you receive a call similar to this, do not give out personal information or provide money. If you are concerned about the legitimacy of a call you receive, you can always contact us at 501-450-4914 or our Non-Emergency Number 501-328-5906.
