Faulkner County Judge Allen Dodson, Public Information Officer Sherry Skaggs, Jail Administrator Captain Chris Watkins, Juvenile Detention Housing Director Lieutenant Rusty Page, and several other representatives from the Faulkner County Detention Center were honored to be able to attend the Arkansas Jail Resource Day Conference, sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Public Safety and held recently in Little Rock. Jail Resource Day is an annual meeting of jail professionals, correctional professionals, local government and community leaders, experts, volunteers, citizens and others interested in learning, growing, sharing, and supporting our local jails. It is a great opportunity for criminal justice professionals and interested parties to network and plan community engagement, programming, reentry, and support services opportunities. We appreciated the opportunity to learn and connect with valuable resources as we strive to better serve the citizens of Faulkner County.
