Unfortunately, there have been some false rumors circulating today, August 26, 2024, which have alleged that the Conway Police Department, Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office, and Faulkner County Detention Center refused to arrest and detain an individual involved in a motor vehicle fatality. The accident in question happened in North Little Rock, and it does not involve Faulkner County Detention Center. Individuals from North Little Rock, when detained, are taken to the Pulaski County Detention Center. We encourage our citizens to be careful of believing and sharing false information on social media. Rumors such as this cause harm to victims, family members, and agencies that are falsely accused in these posts.
