The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Faulkner County today, Wednesday, August 14, 2024, effective from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Heat index values up to 109 degrees are expected. Please drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children, elderly, disabled individuals, and pets should never be left unattended in the heat. Heat stroke is an emergency!
