Update on August 5, 2024, at 8:45am: At approximately 8:00am this morning, August 5, 2024, Mr. Parsons was found safe in a wooded area. Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office wishes to express our appreciation to the Holland Fire Department, Beaverfork Fire Department, Vilonia Fire Department, Faulkner County Emergency Squad, Arkansas State Police, Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management, and Faulkner County Reserve Unit for their assistance with this case. We also wish to express our appreciation to the many community members and other agencies who assisted in the search, provided information, and offered additional support. These successful collaborations have thankfully resulted in Mr. Parsons being safely reunited with family today.

Original Post:Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in locating Missing Person Gary Parsons. A Silver Alert has been activated through Arkansas State Police for Mr. Parsons at this time. Mr. Parsons was last seen yesterday, August 3, 2024, at approximately 10:00pm, wearing blue jeans, a long sleeve checkered shirt, and glasses. He was last seen on foot in an unknown direction of travel near Harve Road in Vilonia.
