The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for Faulkner County today, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, effective from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Heat index values exceeding 110 degrees are expected. Please drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children, elderly, disabled individuals, and pets should never be left unattended in the heat. Heat stroke is an emergency!
