Suspect Shot in Home Invasion

07/13/2015

On 07/10/2015 Faulkner County deputies were called to 25 Poole Ln Damascus, AR in reference to a possible home invasion. FCSO responded to the residence and spoke to the residence owner. The owner, Donna Salvo (42), stated someone had broken out one of her bedroom windows while she was asleep. She got up to investigate and saw a white male, 6’ tall, blonde hair and mustache standing in her room.  She said that the suspect had gained access through the window and shoved her back onto her bed. The suspect then picked up a shotgun that was in the corner of the room and pointed it at her. According to Ms. Salvo a friend, Cornenia Dillard (70), was asleep on the couch. At some point during the incident the suspect held a knife to Mr. Dillard’s throat. While the suspect was in the bedroom, Mr. Dillard grabbed his small handgun, went to the bedroom and fired one round at the suspect. The suspect then jumped back out of the window and fled on foot. After the shot was fired, Mr. Dillard said he was struck in the back by a white female. The female suspect left the residence in an unknown direction.

Deputies cleared the residence to secure the scene and found the knife and the suspect’s cell phone. Dispatch called the surrounding Hospitals to see if anyone had came in with a possible gunshot wound. A few minutes later, Van Buren County advised that a male subject with a gunshot wound came into the E.R. in Clinton, AR with a white female.  Clinton Police Department arrived at the E.R. and detained the female and identified herself as Tonya Mannon (40).  Later it was determined that Mannon gave a false name. Her real name is Stacy Wright (38). Wright was transported back to Faulkner County for interviews and a hold was placed for a warrant out of Cabot P.D. The male suspect, Jonathan Hill (36) was transported by the hospital to Conway Regional E.R. where he underwent surgery for a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He is currently still in the hospital awaiting charges.

The incident is still under investigation by Faulkner County Investigators.
