Suspect takes Deputies on pursuit through county

On June 24, 2013 Investigators with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office were investigating a stolen four wheeler on Daughtery Hill Rd. While at the residence, Dennis Brent Fregia (24) of Fairfield Bay, showed up to the property. When Investigators went to speak with him, Fregia reved up his motor and through it in reverse trying to flee. One of the Investigators tried to gain control of the suspect and was thrown from the fleeing vehicle. Investigators radioed to the patrol deputies who were nearby and started pursuing Fregia. Fregia took the Deputies on a high speed pursuit through rural Faulkner County where he, throughout a weapon during the pursuit. During the pursuit he also tried to ram the deputies and drove through the eight mile store parking lot almost hitting a pedestrian at a high rate of speed. Fregia eventually struck a vehicle on Jones Rd and fled on foot where he was caught by deputies after a short foot pursuit. Fregia was charged with 11 charges;

  1. Battery 1st- Felony B
  2. Leaving the scene of an accident with injury-Felony D
  3. Fleeing by vehicle - Felony C
  4. Possession of Firearms by certain persons- Felony D
  5. Reckless Driving - Misd A
  6. Criminal Mischief - Misd A
  7. Fleeing on foot - Misd A
  8. Resisting arrest - Misd A
  9. Driving on Suspended License - Misd A
  10. Disorderly Conduct - Misd C
  11. Criminal Trespass - Misd C
