Sheriff Tim Ryals Equips Deputies with Water Rescue Devices
02/15/2018
Deputies with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office have been equipped with water rescue flotation devices. Faulkner County is a wonderful location with lots of lakes, ponds, rivers, creeks, and streams. As we all remember, Faulkner County is prone to flooding in the spring.
There have been several situations in the past where FCSO has had to respond to water rescue calls for service. Sheriff Tim Ryals wanted to ensure deputies were equipped to be able to assist those in need. These simple devices are found in every FCSO vehicle.
Citizens are encouraged to use caution and common sense in situations where water may be involved. This includes wearing a proper flotation device while boating/fishing, and staying off flooded roadways. As the saying goes, "Turn Around, Don't Drown!"
