On the evening of 12/16/15, FCSO Investigators arrested a Mt. Vernon man on two (2) counts of 5-27-602: Possessing, Viewing, Distributing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving children.  The investigation began on 12/14/15 after the suspect was identified from an online posting that he made. Contact was made with the suspect and he sent multiple photos, two (2) of which depicted inappropriate images of underage females. With the assistance of the White County Sheriff’s Office, contact was made with the suspect at his residence where he was arrested and transported to FCSO CID. The suspects’ cell phone was seized at the time of the arrest. This is an on-going FCSO and WCSO investigation with additional charges on additional subjects anticipated.
